Yunnan Black (滇紅茶) is a Chinese black tea that carries a bold flavour with a hint of smokiness. If you like Russian Caravan, Keemun or Prince of Wales, this is a great tea to try.

Yunnan Red (black tea) is one of the best known Chinese black tea, with a hint of the caramelised sugar taste, which is surprising well suited with milk.

Black tea in the western world in classified as "red tea" in Chinese tea categorisation.

Very pleasent tea.

Found it's most refreshing aroma, first thing in the morning to start the day,and still keeps you suprised if you try it for the first time.Have enjoyed this aroma for many years, ten to be honest.

Smoky but then not really...just really nice

I have tried a few chinese red tea and this is by far my favourite. It is BOLD and robust. It is very grounding and warming. I drink it when I feel particularly when I feel flustered and need some "grounding". Love it.

First Taste of China

Yunnan Red is the first Chinese black tea I've bought. Interesting smoky character and quite different from the Ceylon and Assam I usually drink. Enjoying it.

Package & Size Guide

Both our tea and herbal blends come sealed in food grade, air-tight packages. The packages are re-sealable by means of a zip lock to ensure freshness is maintained after each use. Retail tea packages come in three sizes - 50g, 250g and 500g.

  • The 50g pouch is most suited for general consumption and makes between 15 - 20 cups of tea depending on the tea variety (based on approx 3g / 1 teaspoon per cup). 
  • The 250g pouch is for the more “avid” tea drinker and makes between 80 - 90 cups of tea, or a cup per day for up to 3 months!
  • The 500g pouch is perfect for those that fall in love with a particular tea variety and consume tea as often as we do! A 500g pouch will make between 160 - 180 cups of tea, or a cup per day for up to 6 months!

  • We utilise shipping software that provides live quotes to ensure you receive the best rates available on each parcel. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
  • Orders are dispatched within 1 - 3 business days depending on the time you place your order.
  • Delivery is fulfilled through Courier or Australia Post with tracking information sent directly via email.
  • Average delivery time for the Sydney metro area is 1 business day. Interstate metro areas 2-3 business days, while rural and country delivery varies between 3-7 business days.
  • Please note that all our tea is hand-blended and hand-packed after the order is made to ensure the freshest ingredients and experience possible. In certain circumstances, including during holidays, sales and product launches, processing/dispatch time may increase.
  • Pick-up is not available.

EXCHANGES, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Changed your mind? It happens! Returns are welcome within 14 days of purchase. Simply contact us and return your unopened and unused products to arrange a refund or exchange. Refunds will be charged back to the original form of payment used for purchase. Customer is responsible for shipping charges when making returns and please note shipping/handling fees of original purchase is non-refundable.
